Helping Youth Maximize Their Potential

Through interactions with role models, extra-curricular engagement, personal responsibility and self-motivation.

Encouraging students to reach their goals and aspirations

Too many young people, particularly those from traditionally underserved groups are not maximizing their potential as evidenced by lower rates of college and career readiness, post-secondary persistence and completion, and lower levels of income. The Compelling Why aims to plug the leaks that often are beyond the reach of our public education entities. See our mission

“The Compelling Why series has done a great deal for the scholars of Uplift Heights Preparatory. It has been truly awe-inspiring to see our scholars, both male and female, walk away from these seminars feeling empowered, motivated, but most importantly a sense of belonging in the realm of success. The moderator, and panel of guests for the last four years have been nothing short of magnificent. ”
Nicole Lyons
Dean of College Prep at Uplift Heights Preparatory
