Inside of you lies incredible potential!
Believe it or not, there are people out there who care about you and want to encourage you to be all you can be.
It also takes one very important ingredient… a good education.
We believe in you and your ability to stretch yourself to achieve more than you ever dreamed possible.
YOU control your destiny, and with the help of mentors, partners and resources of The Compelling Why, you will do it. Remember, you’re not alone.
We are here to help you reach your goals and aspirations and make those dreams come true.
First Step: Attend a Success Session
Seminars are geared toward African-American and Hispanic high school and middle school students of promise – youth who may be straddling the fence in school between “just getting by” and “being all they can be.”
Through moderated panel discussions, students are provided the opportunity to learn from and interact with successful business and community leaders who “have walked in your shoes” speak with authenticity and cultural credibility.
The seminars stress the importance and value of education, self-motivation, personal responsibility and active engagement.
These important life lessons are reinforced through panelist personal stories on how they overcame seemingly impossible obstacles.
You will be challenged with a call-to-action to engage in programs that prepare you for success in college and your future career. Academic enrichment and youth development programs, already available on your campuses and in your community are featured during an Opportunity Fair so you can easily and immediately learn more about those programs and enroll.
Seminars are held at partner university campuses and segmented by gender and ethnicity to help maximize impact on participants.
To attend, ask your teacher, counselor or principal to contact The Compelling Why at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“Realize my full potential.”
